Experience
I possess a degree in Information Systems, which I received from University of Redlands in California. I also attended University of La Verne in California, where I did 24 units of graduate studies for the Classroom Management Program. On top of that, I possess a master's degree in Education with a focus on Information Technology. Though I am now retired, I worked as a math teacher and worked with children from elementary to high school age. During my time as a teacher, I was nominated for the Teacher of the Year award. Before going into the teaching profession, I worked as an engineer within the telecommunications field. One of the best things about that career was getting to be a part of the installation of an atomic clock in California. As a tutor, I believe that my greatest strength is my ability to form connections with my students and making them feel comfortable. I am able to come up with a learning plan for each student based on which tools I feel would suit them best. My hobbies include going on road trips throughout the country, and building computers. I also enjoy attending jazz festivals. I love having projects to do, and problem solving.
