Experience
I went to Tulane University, where I earned a master's in International Development. For undergrad, I attended Oral Roberts University, where I minored in Spanish and obtained a bachelor's degree in Communications. I've worked as an elementary and middle school teacher for eleven years, working with students in many different subjects, including Social Studies, Mathematics, and English. I recently began teaching Spanish to middle school students. I'm excited about helping others achieve fluency in Spanish. I've worked in private schools, public schools, charter schools, and in the Dominican Republic. Having worked with many different kinds of students with a variety of needs, I feel confident in creating individualized strategies to help students learn and improve. Compassion and understanding are necessary in this work. I can tutor students in Spanish, Reading, Writing, Geography, Global Politics, World Religions, English, and Religious Studies. I can also help with essays, editing, and grammar and mechanics. In my spare time, I love traveling, playing sports, hiking, and spending time with my family.
